The Timex Expedition Scout T49961 is a 40mm field watch with a practical black dial and grey matte-finish brass case. Full Arabic numerals provide clear hour markings, while the distinct arrow-shaped seconds hand adds a recognisable detail to the dial. A date display and 12/24-hour markings provide additional everyday functionality.

Quartz Movement and INDIGLO®

The watch is powered by a quartz analogue movement using a CR2016 battery. Timex's INDIGLO® light-up dial provides illumination at the push of a button, making the dial easier to read in low-light conditions. The combination of quartz timekeeping, date functionality and INDIGLO® gives the watch a straightforward field-watch specification.

40mm Brass Case and Mineral Crystal

The grey brass case measures 40mm in diameter and 11mm in height, with a matte finish that suits the watch's field-watch design. A mineral crystal covers the black dial, providing greater scratch resistance than acrylic while maintaining clear visibility. 

Green Fabric Strap and 50m Water Resistance

A green fabric strap with a traditional buckle fastening completes the watch, with a 20mm lug width. The fabric construction provides a lightweight alternative to metal or leather straps. Water resistance is rated to 50 metres, making the watch suitable for light swimming but not snorkelling or diving.
