The Squale 1521 Full Luminous Orange Militaire Mesh 1521DLCFOR.MEPVD20 is a 42mm automatic dive watch built around a 316L stainless steel case. Measuring 12.5mm in height and 48mm from lug to lug, the case has a 20mm lug width and is paired with a bold orange dial. The dial uses printed indexes and SuperLuminova C3, while the flat sapphire crystal has anti-reflective treatment for improved readability. A unidirectional bezel with an aluminium insert completes the dial-side construction.

500-Metre Water Resistance

The watch is rated to 50 ATM, equivalent to 500 metres of water resistance. A screw-in crown and screw-in caseback help secure the case, with the caseback finished in DLC. The unidirectional bezel provides a functional elapsed-time scale for diving, while the combination of the screw-in components and robust 316L stainless steel case supports the watch's high water-resistance rating.

Sellita SW 200-1 Automatic Movement

Powering the 1521DLCFOR.MEPVD20 is the Sellita SW 200-1 automatic movement in Elabore grade. The movement contains 26 jewels and operates at a frequency of 28,800 A/h (4 Hz), with a stated power reserve of 38 hours. Its automatic winding system powers the analogue display without the need for a battery, while the mechanical movement sits within the 12.5mm case.

Black PVD Steel Mesh Bracelet

The watch is fitted with a 20mm steel mesh bracelet finished in black, complemented by a 20mm buckle. The black PVD finish creates a strong contrast against the orange dial and works alongside the DLC-finished caseback. The mesh construction gives this version a different character from the rubber-strap 1521 models, while retaining the 20mm connection to the 42mm case.
