It is housed in a 42 mm case made from 316L stainless steel, featuring the signature Squale 1521 silhouette with a screw-down crown positioned at 4 o’clock and a screw-in caseback. The model offers water resistance up to 500 metres (50 ATM), making it suitable for professional diving use.

The Blue Ray dial features a sunburst blue finish that changes tone depending on light conditions. Applied hour markers and luminous hands filled with Super-LumiNova ensure clear readability in low-light environments. A unidirectional rotating bezel with a blue aluminium insert allows precise measurement of elapsed dive time.
