Seiko Presage Sharp Edge Series Automatic Black Dial Black Leather Strap Men's Watch SPB231J1

The Case:

The Seiko SPB231J1 features a 39mm case that is forged from brushed stainless steel. The case consists of: a circular fixed bezel, a screw-down crown at 3 o’clock, a screw case back and anti-reflective sapphire, which provides the watch with optimum legibility and scratch resistance.

The Dial:

The design of the black textured dial is inspired by the pattern of a hemp leaf, which is a traditional Japanese leaf. The dial also exhibits further sharp, angular and refined motifs which can be seen through the bronze sword style handset which is filled with a luminescent material which enables nighttime readability. Elongated applied bronze hour markers are located around the edge of the dial, a bronze framed date-display window is located neatly beside the 3 o’clock marker. The Seiko logo is presented in silver beneath the 12 o’clock marker.

The Strap:

The strap is made from leather and presented in black with stitching that runs down the sides of the strap. It fastens through the use of a stainless standard buckle.

The Functions:

This timepiece is powered by automatic 6R35 caliber movement, which provides the watch with an accuracy of +25/-15 seconds per month and battery life of approximately 70 hours. It has a water resistance of 100 meters, which means it can be worn when snorkelling.
