The Mondaine Doppio Solar Skeleton MLE.41921.SM features a 41mm polished IP Gun 316L stainless steel case with a matching finish across the case and bracelet. Measuring 7.5mm in height, the case is fitted with a double-domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating and a pressed 316L stainless steel case back. A security gasket protects the crown, while 5 ATM water resistance provides protection against water exposure.

Doppio Collection

Part of Mondaine’s Doppio Collection, the watch incorporates the collection’s repeated double-line design across the hands and hour indices. The concave dial features a circular opening at its centre, revealing the solar cells beneath and making the watch’s power source part of the dial design. A discreet date window provides an additional calendar function, while the IP Gun finish gives the watch a dark metallic appearance.

Solar-Powered Movement

The watch is powered by the Swiss Ronda 215 solar movement, which converts both natural and artificial light into energy stored in a rechargeable battery. When fully charged, it can continue running for up to eight months in complete darkness, reducing the need for regular battery replacement.

Sapphire Crystal

A double-domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating covers the dial. The curved profile follows the concave shape of the dial and contributes to the depth created by the central solar-cell opening. Sapphire provides a scratch-resistant surface for protecting the dial during regular use.

IP Gun Stainless Steel Mesh Bracelet

The watch is fitted with an IP Gun 316L stainless steel mesh bracelet and a matching polished stainless steel buckle. The bracelet has a 20mm lug width and follows the dark metallic finish of the case, creating a consistent appearance across the watch. The complete timepiece weighs approximately 85g.
