The Marathon SAR Anthracite WW194026BK-0130 is a 36mm Medium Search and Rescue Automatic (MSAR Auto) designed for demanding conditions and tactical night operations. First issued in 2018 for stealth during tactical night missions, the Anthracite SAR features a durable black anti-reflective Ion-Plating (IP) armour over its 316L stainless steel case and movement. This 36mm Anthracite MSAR is designed for smaller wrist sizes while retaining the core specifications of the MSAR Auto. The case measures 36mm in diameter, 13mm thick and 43.5mm from lug to lug, with 18mm lugs. A scratch-resistant sapphire crystal protects the dial, while the watch is supplied with a 3-piece rubber strap kit with Anthracite hardware.

Anthracite Sellita SW200-1 Automatic Movement

The watch is powered by an Anthracite Sellita SW200-1 automatic movement with 26 jewels and an Incabloc® Shock Absorber. The self-winding movement provides hours, minutes and seconds, together with a date display at 4:30. The movement is designed to provide shock protection while maintaining reliable timekeeping during demanding use.

Unidirectional 60-Minute Dive Bezel

The Anthracite MSAR features a unidirectional 60-minute dive bezel for measuring elapsed time. Its 316L stainless steel case has an Anthracite finish, while the screw-down crown and sapphire crystal support the watch's 30 ATM water resistance, rated to 300 metres (1,000 feet). The 36mm case provides a smaller format while retaining the diving specifications of the MSAR series.

Tritium Gas Tubes, MaraGlo & Anthracite Finish

Tritium gas tubes are fitted to the hour markers and full hand set for visibility in low-light conditions, while MaraGlo is used on the 60-minute bezel marker. The watch features upgraded MaraGlo illumination and larger indices as part of the re-engineered Anthracite MSAR design.
