The Marathon MSAR Automatic WW194026SS-0130, commonly known as the Medium Search and Rescue Automatic (MSAR Auto), is a 36mm men's dive watch from the Search & Rescue family. The MSAR Auto matches the features of the GSAR but uses a more compact 36mm case. Its 316L stainless steel case has a brushed finish and measures 13mm in height, with a 43.5mm lug-to-lug length and 18mm lug width. The black dial is protected by sapphire crystal, while the screw-down crown and solid caseback support the 300-metre water resistance.

Sellita SW200-1 Automatic Movement

The watch is powered by a Sellita SW200-1 automatic movement with 26 jewels and Incabloc shock protection. The mechanical movement provides automatic timekeeping and is housed within the brushed 316L stainless steel case. A screw-down crown helps maintain the case's water resistance, while the unidirectional bezel features a 60-minute scale for dive timing.

The 36mm stainless steel case gives the MSAR Auto a compact profile while retaining the construction and specifications associated with Marathon's Search and Rescue dive watches. The black dial uses a dual 1–12 and 13–24 scale layout and includes a date display, while Tritium Gas Tubes and MaraGlo provide illumination for reading the time in low-light conditions. The sapphire crystal protects the dial, and the 30 ATM water resistance is equivalent to 300 metres.

Tritium Gas Tubes and MaraGlo are used for dial illumination, providing visibility in low-light conditions. The WW194026SS-0130 includes a black 3-piece rubber strap kit with an 18mm width, providing a practical strap configuration for the MSAR Auto. The combination of the 36mm stainless steel case, automatic movement, unidirectional bezel, 300-metre water resistance and rubber strap kit gives the watch its Search & Rescue dive-watch configuration.
