Luminox ICE-SAR 45mm Limited Edition Black Dial Rubber with Textile Mens Quartz Watch XL.1095

The Luminox ICE-SAR XL.1095 is a Swiss Made limited-edition outdoor watch created in collaboration with Icelandic Search and Rescue (ICE-SAR). It features a 45mm CARBONOX™ case measuring 13mm in thickness, a black dial with a fire-red outer ring and a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating. Water resistance is rated to 200 metres, while the watch is limited to 874 pieces worldwide.

Icelandic Search and Rescue Collaboration

The XL.1095 was developed with ICE-SAR, Iceland’s volunteer-based search and rescue organisation, whose teams assist with emergency response and rescue operations across the country. The watch reflects this partnership through its search-and-rescue details, including the SAR triangle on the dial and red accents inspired by ICE-SAR’s visual identity. Its production of 874 pieces also references 874 AD, the year traditionally associated with Iceland’s first settlement.

CARBONOX™ Case

The 45mm case is made from CARBONOX™, Luminox’s lightweight carbon-based material, and is paired with a CARBONOX™ unidirectional rotating bezel featuring a two-tone aluminium ring. A black IP stainless steel screw-on case back and protected black IP stainless steel crown complete the case construction. The watch weighs approximately 61g, keeping the overall design lightweight for outdoor use.

Swiss Quartz Movement

Powering the XL.1095 is the Swiss Made RONDA 515 quartz movement, providing hours, minutes, seconds and date functions. The movement has a battery life of up to 60 months. Luminox Light Technology is incorporated into the watch with 15 self-powered illumination tubes, providing continuous visibility for up to 25 years without requiring an external power source.

Black Rubber and Red Textile Strap

The watch is fitted with a black rubber strap with a red textile upper section, measuring 23mm at the lugs. The colour combination continues the red and black detailing used throughout the watch, while the rubber construction is suited to an outdoor-focused timepiece. Combined with 200-metre water resistance, a sapphire crystal and a unidirectional bezel, the XL.1095 is designed around the requirements of an active outdoor watch.
