BALL Engineer III 'Army' 40mm Limited Edition Blue Dial Steel Mens Automatic Watch NM3000C-S11C-BE

The BALL Engineer III Army NM3000C-S11C-BE features a 40mm stainless steel case with a height of 13.6mm and a blue dial. The display provides hours, minutes and sweep seconds, with a magnified date adding a practical calendar function. An anti-reflective sapphire crystal protects the dial, while the screwed-in crown forms part of the case construction. The watch weighs approximately 190g and is paired with a stainless steel bracelet and folding buckle.

BALL Army Series

The Engineer III Army belongs to BALL Watch’s Army Series and is produced as a limited edition of 1,775 pieces. The series combines mechanical timekeeping with features developed for resistance to shock and magnetic fields, alongside BALL’s micro gas tube illumination. The NM3000C-S11C-BE brings these specifications together in a 40mm stainless steel construction with a blue dial and automatic COSC-certified movement.

Micro Gas Tube Illumination

The blue dial and hands incorporate 51 micro gas tubes, positioned on the hour, minute and second hands and across the dial for night reading capability. This provides illumination in dark conditions without relying on conventional dial lighting. The anti-reflective treatment on the sapphire crystal helps reduce reflections over the dial, allowing the time and illuminated elements to remain clearly visible.

COSC-Certified Automatic Movement

The watch is powered by the automatic BALL RR1103-C calibre, which is chronometer certified by COSC. It provides hours, minutes, sweep seconds and a magnified date. BALL’s patented SpringLOCK® hairspring anti-shock system is designed to protect the movement against shocks, with the watch rated to withstand impacts of up to 5,000 G. It also offers anti-magnetic resistance of up to 1,000 Gauss, equivalent to 80,000 A/m.

Stainless Steel Construction and Protection

The stainless steel case is fitted with a screwed-in crown and provides 100 metres (330 feet) of water resistance. The matching stainless steel bracelet is secured with a folding buckle, while the 20mm lug width connects the bracelet to the case. Together with the sapphire crystal, micro gas tube illumination, SpringLOCK® system and anti-magnetic protection, these specifications form the technical foundation of the Engineer III Army.
